Meet the Team
Barbara Clarke
The Secretary Treasurer & owner of Bay City Screw & Bolt. Barb & Brian purchased BHJ Products, Inc. in 1999. Barbara's day-to-day responsibilities at the company include HR, accounting, and being famous for being the background music, helping calm everyone, bringing balance on stressful days. Outside of work, Barb is an amazing cook, and she enjoys spending time in the sunshine outside listening to music with the dogs. She enjoys seeing her granddaughters and being partners in crime with them, too.
Brian Clarke
The President & Owner of Bay City Screw & Bolt. Brian and Barbara purchased BHJ Products, Inc in 1999. Brian's day-to-day responsibilities at the company include, Director of Manufacturing and Fastener Divisions, overseeing corporate operations. Outside of work, Brian enjoys spending time with his family, tinkering with home projects, auto racing, and spending time out on the pontoon boat enjoying the sunshine, with his kids and grandkids.
Mike Clarke
The Director of Operations at Bay City Screw & Bolt, he started with Bay City in 1999, during high school, and since starting has dabbled in almost all aspects of the business. Mike's day-to-day responsibilities include operations, outside sales, as well as staff training on product applications. Many Saturdays Mike can be found working on projects in the office, warehouse or shop, sometimes they are work projects and sometimes over engineered home projects that require the machine shop’s equipment to finish. Outside of work, Mike enjoys spending time with his family cooking/BBQing, camping and helping his daughters with their participation in 4H, raising all kinds of animals, including rabbits, pigs, turkeys, and chickens.
Julie Clarke
The Director of Purchasing at Bay City Screw & Bolt, she started with Bay City in 1999 and started full time in 2007. Julie's day-to-day responsibilities include purchasing, sourcing, inside sales, association liaison, and anything else needed. Julie has gone through the training and is our Certified Fastener Specialist on staff, along with her Fastener Training. Outside of work Julie's favorite hobby is painting shoes, something she has been doing for years, and spending time relaxing with her dog, Hope. Julie's background and focus was not always fasteners and family business, she Graduated with her Bachelor of Applied Science in Sounds Arts, as a Sound Engineer, and spent some time in the Corporate AV world as well as working live sound for a few festivals, her passion for art and music is deep.
Alberto T.
The Manufacturing Manager at BHJ Products/Bay City Screw & Bolt, he started with BHJ in 2021. Alberto's day-to-day responsibilities include managing the manufacturing shop, finding creative ways to improve processes, and participating in all custom product quotes for the shop. Outside of work Alberto enjoys spending time outside with his family doing activities such as riding bikes & going for walks.
Amanda Clarke
Accounts Receivables & Payables at Bay City Screw & Bolt, she started with Bay City in 2021. Amanda's day-to-day responsibilities include accounts payables & receivables as well as office manager duties. She loves sharing her workday with her Black Lab Jane, she is 1 of 3 dogs here in the office at Bay City. Outside of work Amanda enjoys being with her Husband & two Daughters. She enjoys craft projects, baking, and sharing the wonderful food that Mike cooks. Amanda is our resident sourdough master.
Dan I.
The Warehouse Manager at Bay City Screw & Bolt, he started with Bay City in 2021. Dan's day-to-day responsibilities include managing the warehouse operations, as well as pulling orders and shipping orders as needed. Outside of work Dan enjoys spending time with family and friends, he also enjoys watching all sports.
Hannah S.
The Sales Manager at Bay City Screw & Bolt, she started with Bay City in 2024. Hannah's day-to-day responsibilities include managing and expanding the sales staff, as well as improving processes and procedures. Outside of work Hannah enjoys spending time with her family and taking as many trips as possible to Disneyland. Hannah has a little boy who keeps her very busy.
Jillian Q.
Part of the Inside Sales Team at Bay City Screw & Bolt, she started with Bay City in 2022. Jillian's day-to-day responsibilities include customer service, writing up orders, and helping customers with their quote request as well as helping customers at our will call counter. Outside of work Jillian enjoys spending quality time with her family, laughing and hanging out.
John C.
Part of the Inside Sales Team at Bay City Screw & Bolt, he started with Bay City in 1986. John's day-to-day responsibilities include customer service, writing up orders, and helping customers with their quote request. You can often find John at the will call counter helping customers identify parts and with their orders. Outside of work John loves being at home with his family and dog, Beanie.
